Latest luxury hotel holiday news in the Caribbean

Jade Mountain reviewers continue to gush over Jade Mountain accolades for which the owners are justly proud, but now Jade Mountain has another 'first' to celebrate. Readers of Travel + Leisure magazine in the US (magazine for American Express card holders) have voted Jade Mountain the best hotel in the world for service. This is apparently the first time a Caribbean hotel has ever won this award. So congratulations to everyone at Jade Mountain.

The Inn at English Harbour will again close on 31 August for its annual refurbishment. It will re-open again on 1 November. This year has proved its most successful in recent years and has become a firm favourite with guests, travel agents and travel writers alike. One journalist recently commented 'we just had an absolutely fabulous couple of days with Enzo, Suzanna and Fabio at the Inn. They are excellent hosts and as you said have improved and updated the hotel without spoiling its charm - for once the actuality was better than the memory!
